Creating this film was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience. I spent around one full month working on this 17-minute short film, which was entirely animated using AI-generated images.
Each animated shot lasts between 3 and 9 seconds, carefully timed to build a consistent and immersive narrative flow. Some of the visuals were manually retouched using CapCut to enhance details and strengthen the overall atmosphere of the film.
The sound design was just as important as the visuals. I handled the entire audio editing process, including music, sound effects, and ambient layers, to intensify the mood and immerse the viewer in the sci-fi environment. The final editing and assembly were done using PowerDirector, where everything came together into a cohesive final product.
This project represents countless hours of creation, testing, adjusting, and fine-tuning — a true labor of love that blends science fiction storytelling with cutting-edge AI technology.
👽 The Story Behind My Film Alien 🎬
My film Alien immerses the viewer in the tense and claustrophobic atmosphere of an isolated space station, where a small group of survivors slowly realizes that something unknown is lurking in the dark corridors. As fear spreads, paranoia grows, and horror takes over: an invisible and deadly alien creature begins hunting the crew one by one.
Through this sci-fi horror story, I aimed to recreate the chilling mood of classic space thrillers, while adding my own personal touch with AI-generated animated visuals and a carefully crafted sound and music design.
The dialogues were written with the help of ChatGPT, allowing me to develop coherent, natural conversations that match each character’s personality and the pacing of the scenes.
One of the most time-consuming parts of the process was creating the French subtitles. Every line had to be precisely timed, accurately translated, and adapted to preserve the emotional tone of each moment. Though meticulous and demanding, this work was essential to deliver a full and immersive experience for the audience.
